It adds value to your home and allows you to get the most out of your outdoor space so you can fully enjoy what your home has to offer. Let’s explore some of the things you can add to your property that will help you enjoy it more for years to come.
Deck Water Feature
A small water feature can add a lot of needed movement and tranquil sounds to your backyard landscape. One of the neatest is a flower pot fountain. It’s a simple fountain created by stacking a smaller flower pot inside of a larger pot. The water spout will flow out of the top of the smaller pot and will fill up and eventually spill over the edge and into the larger pot below. This is a unique and relatively easy outdoor fountain to make and it really adds a lot of charm to your space! There are also many other types of deck water features you can create like a traditional zen fountain or a cascading water bowl. Any fountain you choose will really brighten up your lawn or garden.
Sunken Fire Pit
A fire pit in general is a must have for any backyard/outdoor entertainer and a sunken fire pit is just that in its most exquisite form. With a sunken fire pit you can have a larger, more contained fire experience that is less susceptible to wind gusts and won’t leak or spill hot ash underneath. Since everything is contained below ground, you can rest assured that your regular outdoor fires will be a little more controlled.
Diving Rock
Why have an old fashioned diving board when you can have a modern and chic’ diving rock? Diving boards tend to get stained and bleached with the sun and years of abuse and they stand out like a sore thumb in an otherwise natural looking pool environment. With a sturdy and stunning diving rock you can still practice your diving form while not breaking up the design and style of your backyard landscaping.
Floating Bench
Practical and beautiful, a floating bench will help your guests relax and will help keep your landscaping free of clutter. Traditional benches can get blown around and trap leaves, dust, and grime. With a floating bench, you can sweep directly under them so your patio area stays clean and easy to maintain.
